House Updates

Our most recent home improvement project is weatherproofing the "Florida Room" so that it becomes a more comfortable, usable space. Plus, we need to transition from an office / guest room to a nursery / guest room so we moved the computer desk to the Florida Room. We replaced the old vertical blinds with faux wood blinds and applied a "low E" UV tint to the windows.

Almost as soon as we moved in the vertical blinds between the living room and the Florida Room broke, giving us a great excuse to take them down and not replace them. We also removed the vertical blinds from the front window in the dining room. The next vertical blinds on our hit list are in the kitchen.

The changes look great. Can't wait to see them in person next month!

I agree with Lou and Mary Jane- can't wait to see the house in person!

Wood blinds slats are the lightest of all blinds and are generally the best bet for large windows. They are known to give a cozy feel to the room and provide the desired privacy, even while allowing enough sunlight to filter through the slats.
