What is Art?

Your opinion on what qualifies as art might change after seeing the masterpieces our little man has completed. Yesterday Jack painted for the first time in his new Pooh "watercolor" book. (It was tee-shirt Tuesday at Wee School at FBCN so that explains the shirt.) He was very serious about his painting and, much to my delight, it kept him occupied for a full 30 minutes. That's a lifetime in Jack's busy world.

Jack's also been busy doing art projects at school. Studying the letter A:

And the colors orange and yellow:

This gem was a birthday present from Jack for his dada.
Sotheby's has already been in contact about an art auction, so if you're interested in a particular piece or would like to commission some work please let us know.

Anything that will keep Jack occupied for 30 minutes sounds like a winner to me. You need to stock up on those watercolor books for when Jill arrives!

He is really concentrating, isn't he? I love the way he says the word yes.
